This past fall we discovered that our lower level had water pouring in from the foundation. By the time we had discovered this, the water had traveled underneath some laminate wood flooring and into all the finished areas of the basement. What a disaster!

I called Mike Case of Case Construction and asked for his advice and his HELP!  Mike came to the house immediately and helped me remove flooring, base boards, partial walls…all things that had potential to mold!  He then brought in blowers and dehumidifiers to prevent any further damage.  Mike even made it a point to be at the house when the insurance company came to assess the damage.

Mike’s quick response and concern for our home was evident in every single action that he took.  He was thorough in making sure that we did indeed get every wet/molded area removed from our home…and with a young son with asthma – this was huge for us!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your hard work and quick response to our needs.  The water damage, due to our backed-up wash tub, would have cost us a lot more money and headaches had you not responded so promptly. 

After talking to a hardwood floor installer/refinisher, it looked as though we would have to replace much of the oak flooring, due to the wood buckling/warping, and then have the entire kitchen and entry area refinished to match.  That would have cost more money, but more importantly much more time and a huge mess; the house would have been a disaster for weeks.

Because you came right over with your high-speed drying equipment, the oak floor dried out and flattened out perfectly.  You wouldn’t even know the water damage had occurred.  And the water that leaked into the basement was also dried out completely with no further issues there as well.
